Our Story

How We Got Here

Ethan and Elli looking at each other under summer trees

Six years ago, while we were both in college at IU Bloomington, we met in the most 2020s way possible: Tinder.

What started with a swipe turned into staying up way too late talking, and somehow we never really ran out of things to say. We clicked pretty quickly, and six years later, we're still each other's favorite person to talk to, laugh with, and annoy.

Since then we've grown up together, lived together for four years, changed jobs, figured out adulthood as we went, and built a life along the way. We've learned a lot about each other, about ourselves, and about what it means to grow together while still being our own people.

In November 2025 we eloped in a small ceremony surrounded by our immediate family. This celebration is our way of marking our first year of marriage and finally getting to celebrate with all of the people we love most.

We're so happy to have you here with us as we celebrate six years together and one year of marriage.
